Mother Relationship with Daughters

After watching the teenager’s struggle with the babies, I thought that by having the teenager’s mother come through was going t be helpful for the couples. It was difficult watching some of the daughters not get along with their mother, which tells me that they have no communication between them. Alicia and the mother had a little argument which was disturbing, because I don’t think you should argue with your parent on something they know more about you. There was also a seen where the daughter absolutely disrespected her mom in such a terrible way that made her look uncomfortable. I felt bad myself because there’s no need for you to treat your parents in that such way, specially your mother; the person who actually gave birth to you, and actually know the pain of a mother. Having the mother’s visit the house, game me a picture of how the family might be at house. It also help picture the kind of relationship they might have outside the house. It was shocking watching some teenagers disrespect their mother, and its something I probably wont forget about.Mother Relationship with Daughters

Baby Borrower Question Response

The film baby borrower is more like a documentary where teens experience the thought of becoming a parent. Most teens let their self be carried away by what others do. It’s more like if my best friend have a child age I want to have one to nor knowing what u are putting your self in. if I was to participate in the documentary, I think I would off done a good job, because I have had experience with kids. Not necessarily my own kids but my little brother, cousin and nieces. Being a parent seems pretty simple, but the truth id that is not. Having a child means that you have to be responsible, not only that but u have to provide the child a family to depend on. As a participant of the shows, I think I would off acted nervous, because being left home just you and your partner taking care of a child that’s not your takes a lot of responsibility. Having the responsibility of taking care of a baby that’s not your it’s hard because you don’t know the habits of the child. The scene I think would make me stop and think is the one where they go to hospital for advising on how to become a parent. Also the scene were they teach the girls how to give birth to the child, I think I would react weird because just thought of witnessing the birth of a kids it’s not unfamiliar. I am not saying that’s a bad thing, it’s just hard to do.

Stomp The yard

Step dancing is one of the most creative ways on showing our passion, and letting others know the skills and abilities we were born with. Stomp the Yard, a movie originally made to show talents of young student in college; also how getting involved with school activities can make a successful student. Stomp the yard generates how step dancing can become a life threat when battling other competitors for money. This movie explains how a person can be so “hood” on the dancing floor but, at the end of the day everything changes radically by witnessing violence which leads to the death of he’s brother.
This movie can be considered one of my favorite movies, not just because it’s an action movie, but because of the message that is trying to bring out. The making of the movie show viewers that even though you have had a lost in the family you can always keep moving with your life. Another reason why I like the movie was because it shows the good side of college life and the bad side of it. As we might all know as college students we have choices to make and they are either good or bad.

Historical Quilts!!

Art is one of the most creative ways to express thoughts, feelings, moods, etc. Art is another way to let your voice be heard. Many times we the people are afraid to speak up; therefore we have many ways for us to speak and be heard such us poetry paintings. The artistic way of speaking is one of a kind and unique, in a way that makes listeners and viewers understand your point. The making of quilts is traditions that run in the family, which is generated from great grandmother until now the present. Quilts are usually made for a special reason; it can be for a given birth of a child, the love or your life or just for the artistic side of it. My point is that quilts can be great ways to express how you feel towards the one’s love.
The quilt I am going be talking about is the one which Asake Denise Jones made her self to express the way she felt about the new president. The strong usage of bright colors demonstrated that Obama stood for he’s family. Each color stripe had a meaning about the certain person. The quilt was outstanding and the message it provided was even better. The quilts colorful stripes help me understand what the definition for family is. The way she demonstrated the images signify how great of a man he is. Also one of the image showed Obama with he’s two daughters, which I thought that he was a great father. Only a proud father would take he’s time to show their kids how much they love them. Asake Jones did a great job on describing the family side of the president.
The colors of the quilts were one the things that captured my eyes, for the simple fact each beautiful color stand out for something special. Like the purple color stood up for he’s wife and how they are happy to be together. You can also say through the color that the creator of the quilt has a special affect toward the president. Most of the color were bright and stood up wit the images, which tells me that it’s about something special.
In conclusion, the quilt I analyze was impressive, because it really had a meaning and I can relate to that. I really like the combinations of the colors. It showed me that the picture had happiness in it.

Media Out of Control

The world is surrounded by all different types of media, which most of them can me be good and educational; whereas the other side can be bad and un-informational. In this world we have many types of media which we can communicate with each other, such as movies, music videos, news etc. Media is that important that is has become part of our lives, basically because of the things that are seen and shown. Knowing that media is one of the greatest inventions I think that there should be certain things taken out. The media grows so fast each year that most of the times they just put anything on the seen not caring of what it might cause other people do. I think that media should be more careful on what they show, because there kids that are starting to grow and when they watch shows that teach him how to survive in the streets; most likely they are going to think that throughout their growth.
Today’s media is causing violence among youth, because of what they are showing. Media such as hip hop videos contain such scenes that teach young adolescence how gain money by doing what they are watching. Most rap videos talk about hustling on the streets and much more that causes violence. As a minister I would spend my money to improve the media. I would like to have a media that would help young kids grow with a good mentality. A mentality that would help them succeed in life and not follow what they are being taught through the media.
